Report: Sberbank may get 40% in Agrokor for debts – exec

MOSCOW, Jun 6 (PRIME) -- Russian national top lender Sberbank may get 40% in troubled Croatian agricultural holding Agrokor as a result of a swap of the company’s debt, Bloomberg reported late Tuesday citing First Deputy CEO Maxim Poletayev.

The combined stake of Sberbank and VTB Bank in the company will amount to 44–45%, he said.

Sberbank is the largest creditor of Agrokor with the company’s debt exceeding 1.1 billion euros.

On Tuesday, Sberbank was included into the list of Agrokor’s creditors, the bank said in a statement.
